My name is Sayeed Ali, a sophomore at City College finishing up the Spring 2019 semester with a portfolio containing the papers I’ve written over the past few months. The main bodies of work are, in chronological order, the introductory letter, literature survey, scientist profile, and research paper. Each page has a section includes the drafts of my work, my thoughts on each draft and how I went about incorporating feedback, and the final product and my reflections on them.

As this class is literally called “Writing for the Sciences,” a lot of what I talk about strictly deals with my writing: rhetorical goals, writing styles, depth of writing, and more. There are times when I manage to feel content with the quality of my work and there are times when I feel I gave my best but it wasn’t enough. Hopefully my thoughts about the semester and what I plan to do to are clear. Thank you for reading.
